
New Delhi/Hyderabad, 18 May (H.S.): In a display of technology and security, 107 participants visited the Telangana Police Integrated Command and Control Center (TGICCC) today, receiving a firsthand look at the state’s cutting-edge safety infrastructure. This visit, arranged as part of the continuing 72nd Miss World Festival, emphasizes Telangana’s dedication to top-notch public safety and safe tourism.
The visit began with an elaborate escort from the entrance to the drop-off area by mounted officers, enhancing the ceremonial feel of the event. Mounted police, recognized for their striking yet elegant appearance, guided the competitors across the grounds, embodying the discipline and power of Telangana’s security forces. This was succeeded by a friendly reception that included a Pipe Band performance and an engaging Dog Show, highlighting the skill and agility of the K9 units trained for diverse security tasks. The occasion featured a remarkable Arms Exhibition, providing the participants an up-close view of the sophisticated weapons and protective equipment utilized by the Telangana police for public safety.
As they entered the Command and Control Center, the competitors were acquainted with the advanced technology and intricate systems that constitute the foundation of Hyderabad’s public safety framework. The TGICCC, referred to as the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), is a cutting-edge facility created to swiftly and efficiently monitor, manage, and respond to emergencies. It acts as the central hub for the Hyderabad City Police, combining multiple data sources, surveillance inputs, and emergency response frameworks to guarantee swift and coordinated actions in critical situations.
The participants received an in-depth tour of the facility, observing directly how technology, data analysis, and artificial intelligence are integrated to improve public safety and city management. The tour ended with a lively cultural performance, offering the contestants insight into the rich heritage and artistic variety of Telangana.
