Araria, 11 May (HS): Pakistan’s recent breach of promise was evident on Saturday when, after announcing a ceasefire, it resumed cross-border firing, leading to the martyrdom of BSF Sub-Inspector Mo. Imtiyaz from Chhapra, Bihar. His bravery in saving his comrades has evoked deep mourning in his native village of Narayanpur and across Bihar. Social activist Prabhat Yadav reached out to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, requesting ₹5 crores in financial aid for Imteyaz’s family and a government job for a relative.
Mo. Imtiyaz, who served in RS Pura, Jammu, made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the nation, leaving behind an ailing wife ignorant of her husband’s noble fate.Yadav emphasized that Imtiyaz’s sacrifice embodies the spirit of patriotism transcending religion, showcasing that soldiers unite for their country’s safety regardless of their backgrounds. He urged the state government to honor Imtiyaz’s legacy by providing substantial financial support and constructing a ‘Gaurav Dwar’ (Gateway of Pride) in Narayanpur. This gesture would not only recognize his contributions but also serve as a lasting symbol of the dedication and valor exhibited by India’s uniformed personnel.
