New Delhi, May 13 (H.S.): Major aviation companies Air India and Indigo have issued advisories for domestic travel today. Both companies have canceled flights to and from several major cities for safety reasons.

Air India shared the travel advisory on its X account. Air India stated, In light of recent developments and with your safety in mind, flights to and from Jammu, Leh, Jodhpur, Amritsar, Bhuj, Jamnagar, Chandigarh, and Rajkot have been canceled on May 13.

Indigo also shared a similar travel advisory on its X account. Indigo said, Flights to and from Jammu, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Leh, Srinagar, and Rajkot will remain canceled on May 13.

It is noteworthy that precautionary security measures are being taken in the country following the attack by Pakistani terrorists in Pahalgam, Kashmir, on April 22. Pakistan continues to provoke with unnecessary firing and shelling. However, after India’s Operation Sindoor, it has backed away from military confrontation. India has made it clear that while agreeing to a ceasefire at Pakistan’s request, it is prepared to respond if any provocation occurs from across the border.
