Amit Shah meets injured soldiers from the anti-Naxal campaign at Delhi AIIMS

Union Home Minister Amit Shah inquiring about the well-being of the injured soldier admitted to AIIMS Delhi on Thursday.

New Delhi, May 15 (H.S.): Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited the trauma center of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi on Thursday. He inquired about the health of four security personnel who were injured during a 21-day anti-Naxal operation conducted in the Kurraguttalu Hills (KGH) on the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border and encouraged them. During this visit, Chhattisgarh’s Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma was also present.

Security forces killed 31 Naxals during the 21-day anti-Naxal operation in the Kurraguttalu Hills on the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border. Additionally, over 2 tons of explosive materials, more than 150 bunkers, over 9 tons of rations, more than 450 IEDs, weapon-making materials, and Naxalite literature were also recovered.

In the operation carried out in the Kurraguttalu Hills, Cobra Battalion’s Assistant Commandant Sagar Ganesh Borade, Head Constable Munesh Chand Sharma, Constable Krishna Kumar Gurjar, and Constable Dhanu Ram were injured. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma inquired about the health of the injured soldiers. He stated that everyone can see the strength of the soldiers’ arms.
