Sribhumi (Assam), 12 May (HS): Sribhumi district police has arrested a Bangladeshi infiltrater. Police said on Monday that a Bangladeshi citizen was arrested on the basis of secret information near the railway line located in Indira Colony area of the district.

The arrested Bangladeshi citizen has been identified as Mijanur Rahman. Who is a resident of Pangarh area of Bangladesh. The arrested accused had entered India illegally with his three friends. Police found in preliminary investigation that the Bangladeshi citizen had reached Sribhumi via West Bengal. The Bangladeshi citizen has been arrested with the help of local people. Police is investigating the matter by registering an FIR in this regard.
