Bhalla seeks global action against Pak for sponsoring terrorism

Samba, 4 May (H.S.): In the wake of heightened tension between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam attack, JKPCC working president Raman Bhalla, accompanied by former Minister Yashpal Kundal, visited border areas Daugh, Abtal, Chowni, Jarda, Swankha, Upper Pard in Samba District to listen to the grievances of the local population.

During the visit, Bhalla reviewed the bunkers and facilities available to the border residents and assured them that the party would take care of their needs and provide all possible help. He demanded that the Government provide 5 marla plots to border residents in safer places, citing that they are the frontline sufferers whenever tensions escalate between India and Pakistan, resulting in ceasefire violations.

While raising the concerns of the border residents, Bhalla reaffirmed the Congress party’s full support to the Union Government in its fight against terrorism. He emphasized that the party stands united with the Government in this critical endeavor. Bhalla assured the border residents that their concerns would be taken up with the authorities and that every effort would be made to address their needs and provide them with the necessary support.

Bhalla’s visit to the border areas demonstrates the party’s commitment to the welfare of the border residents and its resolve to support the Government’s efforts to combat terrorism. Cong leader strongly condemned Pakistan for its continued support to terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, despite its own economic struggles. He criticized Pakistan for not learning from past experiences and instead choosing to foment terror in the region.Bhalla described Pakistan as a failed state and a rogue nation, emphasizing its inability to address its own internal issues while continuing to destabilize the region through terrorism.
