Commercial gas cylinders become cheaper

New Delhi, May 1 (H.S.): Oil marketing companies (OMCs) have reduced the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder today. However, there has been no change in the price of the 14.2 kg gas cylinder used for domestic purposes. Following the revision that takes place at the beginning of each month to determine gas prices, the price of commercial gas has been reduced by ₹14.50 to ₹17 per cylinder today. For the second consecutive month, oil marketing companies have cut the prices of commercial gas cylinders.

After the price cut, the payment for a 19 kg gas cylinder in Delhi will now be ₹1,747.50, while in April, it was ₹1,762, and in March, it was ₹1,803. Thus, in the last two months, the price of the 19 kg LPG gas cylinder has decreased by ₹55.50, and by ₹14.50 in one month.

After the reduction in the price of the commercial gas cylinder, its price in Kolkata has decreased from ₹1,868.50 to ₹1,851.50. Similarly, in Mumbai, these cylinders are now available for ₹1,699 instead of ₹1,713.50. In Chennai, the price of the 19 kg gas cylinder has gone down from ₹1,921.50 to ₹1,906.
