
New Delhi, July 5(HS): In the third T20 International against England at The Oval, Deepti Sharma made history by taking her 144th wicket, becoming the joint second-highest wicket-taker in women’s T20 International cricket alongside Nida Dar. The record for the most wickets is held by Megan Schutt with 151.
Deepti is the first Indian bowler to reach 100 T20I wickets. Radha Yadav became the second Indian to this milestone by dismissing England’s Tammy Beaumont in the same match.
