
Humberg(Germany), 29 June (H.S.): Diksha Dagar and Vani Kapoor stood out among the Indian golfers at the Amundi German Masters after the second day, with both tied for 8th place. Diksha scored an even par round, slipping from the top five, while Vani made significant progress with a 3-under 70. Avani Prashanth also made the cut, finishing the day tied for 43rd after a round of 1-over 74. Tvesa Malik missed the cut by one shot, with the cut line at 3-over par. Other Indians, including Sneha Singh, Amandeep Drall, Hitaashee Bakshi, and Vidhatri Urs, did not qualify, and Neha Tripathi withdrew post-first round.
In the lead, Helen Briem and Elinor Sudow are tied at eight under par, both having rounds of 1-under 70 and 3-under 70, respectively. Shannon Tan, in third place with a round of 4-under 69, has a combined score of seven under par.
Diksha’s second round featured a birdie-bogey-birdie finish on the front nine and an even round overall, maintaining her score of four under par. Vani, after a slow front nine, improved with three birdies on the back half to conclude her day also at a combined four under par.
