
Washington, May 12 (H.S.): A fire in a four-story Milwaukee apartment on Sunday led to the deaths of at least four individuals and injured four others, confirmed by Fire Chief Aaron Lipski. Rescue workers arrived at approximately 7:45 AM, with around 22 fire trucks combating the blaze. About 30 occupants were rescued via stairs or by firefighters.Concerns were raised that some may have jumped from the second floor.
The fire originated in a public area and spread to apartments. The identities of the deceased remain undisclosed, and the injured are in critical condition. The building was built in 1968.
