Delhi, 20 June (H.S.): Union Minister of Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy, commenced a two-day visit to Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) on June 20-21. He will review operations at Jhanjra Underground Mine and Sonepur Bazari OCP, inaugurate the ‘Sindoor Park’ Eco Park at Jhanjra, and celebrate International Day of Yoga 2025 there. The Minister will also inaugurate the Mahudanga Rehabilitation Site, distribute appointment letters under compassionate employment per NCWA guidelines, and provide tricycles to people with disabilities at RN Colony, Sonepur Bazari Area. Additionally, he will host interactive sessions with stakeholders, visit Rehabilitation & Resettlement sites, and honor employees for outstanding performance.
