Gold Prices Drop, Silver Shines in Bullion Market

New Delhi, May 26 (HS): A downward trend in gold prices is evident in the domestic bullion market today, with 24-carat gold decreasing by ₹400 to ₹440 per 10 grams. Current prices range from ₹97,640 to ₹97,790 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold, while 22-carat gold is priced between ₹89,500 to ₹89,650 per 10 grams across various markets. In Delhi, 24-carat gold is at ₹97,790 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold is ₹89,650 per 10 grams. Mumbai sees 24-carat gold at ₹97,640 and 22-carat at ₹89,500.

In Ahmedabad, the prices are ₹97,690 and ₹89,550 for 24-carat and 22-carat gold, respectively. Chennai and Kolkata show similar trends with 24-carat gold priced at ₹97,640 and 22-carat at ₹89,500. Lucknow records ₹97,790 and ₹89,650, while Patna lists ₹97,690 and ₹89,550. Jaipur offers 24-carat gold at ₹97,790 and 22-carat at ₹89,650. The price drop is consistent across other states, including Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha, where both carat types are priced uniformly at ₹97,640 and ₹89,500, respectively. Silver has seen a slight increase, trading at ₹1,00,000 per kg in Delhi.
