Lucknow, 10 May (HS): Remembering the first war of independence
of 1857, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad
Maurya and many public representatives have given their reaction on X. Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote on Twitter on Saturday that the first freedom
struggle was started on this day in 1857 by the immortal sons of Mother India
to free Mother India from the slavery of the British. Millions of tributes to
all the martyrs who participated in this ‘People’s Revolution’, a symbol of
India’s self-respect, valour, sacrifice and independent consciousness. Jai Maa

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that we pay our
heartfelt tribute to the sacrifice and martyrdom of the brave sons of Mother
India who sacrificed their lives in the First Indian War of Independence-1857.
Their indomitable courage and unforgettable struggle became the strong
foundation of freedom, which imbued the coming generations with the spirit of
patriotism, sacrifice and self-respect.
Ayush Minister Dr. Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu said on X that on
this day, in 1857, the first Indian freedom struggle started. I salute the
martyrdom of all the brave sons of Mother India who sacrificed their all for
the freedom of the motherland. Explaining the importance of today, Excise
Minister Nitin Agarwal said on X that it is a heartfelt tribute to the brave
sons of Mother India who sacrificed their all in the first Indian freedom
struggle that started on this day in 1857. The country will remain indebted for
ages to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the glory of the
motherland. I salute their sacrifice with all my heart.
MLA Yogesh Shukla said that today is Revolution Day. On this
day, the first bugle of the Indian freedom struggle was blown from Meerut,
Uttar Pradesh. We pay our tribute to the sacrifice of the brave revolutionary
sons who sacrificed their lives in the freedom struggle of 1857. MLC Ramchandra
Pradhan said that we pay our tribute to the sacrifice of the brave
