Hyderabad, 18 May (H.S.): The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Hyderabad has predicted heavy rainfall in several districts of Telangana on Sunday.

It has also forecast storms and lightning. Warning announced for a four-day period IMD Hyderabad has released a warning for rain over the next four days, until May 21, 2025.

A warning has been announced for every district in Telangana.

For Hyderabad, the meteorological department predicts light to moderate rainfall or thundershowers with strong winds through May 21.

IMD Hyderabad issues yellow alert predicting rainfall.

Due to the anticipated rainfall, the meteorological department has released a yellow alert for all districts in Telangana, including Hyderabad. Given the forecasted weather conditions, the highest temperatures across all districts in the state are expected to fall between 36-40 degrees Celsius until May 21.
