Guwahati, 15 May (HS): A state-of-the-art obstacle course and .22 rifle firing simulator for NCC cadets was inaugurated at Arya Vidyapeeth College, Guwahati on Thursday. Chief guest Brigadier Ajit Kumar Bora, Vishisht Seva Medal, Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarters Guwahati inaugurated it.

This facility has been started on the initiative of 60 Assam Girls Battalion NCC, in which college principal Dr. Pradeep Kumar Bhattacharya and ANO Lieutenant Dalimi Devi also contributed. This course is specially designed for senior wing and division cadets preparing for the Army Camp (TSC).

During the exhibition, the cadets performed brilliantly on the new obstacle course, while techniques like grouping fire, application fire were also demoed in the simulator. This facility will now be available to all the cadets of Guwahati NCC Group.
