
New Delhi, May 10 (HS): The air conflict between India and Pakistan intensified early this morning. Pakistan’s aerial targets are being continuously thwarted through Indian defence and radar systems. The Indian Army has destroyed Pakistani posts and terrorist launch pads in PoK (Pakistan-occupied Kashmir). From here, Pakistan has been attempting to target Indian positions by launching armed drones. The Indian Army successfully shot down Pakistan’s rotating explosive drone with the help of L-70 air defense guns in Gujarat’s Kutch sector.
Pakistan launched biker kamikaze drones in Amritsar, Punjab, posing a threat to residential areas in Punjab. At 5 AM this morning, the Army’s air defense gun thwarted this attempt, causing the drone to be destroyed in mid-air. The target of the drone was civilian areas and innocent citizens. Defence officials reported that the Indian Army successfully shot down a looting munition (rotating explosive drone) from the Pakistani army in Gujarat’s Kutch sector with the assistance of L-70 air defense guns.
Drone attacks and continued assaults with other weapons from Pakistan against our western borders are ongoing. In one such incident, around 5 AM this morning, several enemy armed drones were seen flying over Khasa Cantt in Amritsar. Our air defense units quickly surrounded the enemy drones and destroyed them. The Indian Army stated that Pakistan’s attempt to violate India’s sovereignty and endanger citizens is unacceptable. The Indian Army will thwart the enemy’s intentions.
The Indian Army has destroyed Pakistani posts and terrorist launch pads near Jammu, including sites used for launching tube-launched drones. The Army has released a video confirming this. In the shelling by Pakistan in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir, houses and properties have been severely damaged, and this shelling is targeted at civilian areas. India has shot down 2 Pakistani fighter jets during a fierce aerial battle around Srinagar-Budgam-Baramulla in the Kashmir Valley, which is yet to be confirmed. Search parties from Jammu and Kashmir Police, Indian Army, and CRPF are attempting to locate the pilots.
