
New Delhi, April 24 (H.S.): India stated today that, following decisions made in the meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS), the visas of all Pakistanis residing in the country will be valid only until April 27, and medical visas until April 29. All Pakistani nationals currently present in India should leave the country as soon as possible. Additionally, Indians residing in Pakistan have also been advised to return to their homeland as soon as possible.
The Ministry of External Affairs stated in a statement on Thursday that, in light of the Pahalgam terrorist attack and the decisions made by the CCS, the Government of India has decided to suspend visa services for Pakistani citizens with immediate effect. All existing valid visas issued to Pakistani citizens by India will be canceled as of April 27. Medical visas issued to Pakistani citizens will remain valid only until April 29. All Pakistani nationals present in India must leave before the revised visa period expires.
The Ministry of External Affairs has strongly advised Indian citizens to avoid traveling to Pakistan. Additionally, Indian citizens currently in Pakistan have also been advised to return to India as soon as possible.
