New Delhi, June 20 (H.S.): IndiGo has announced the launch of direct flight services from Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad to eight Indian cities—Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Patna, and Varanasi—starting July 20. The airline expressed excitement about enhancing air travel access from Uttar Pradesh’s Hindon Airport and gratitude for the support from Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu. This expansion marks Hindon as IndiGo’s 93rd domestic destination and the second airport to serve the National Capital Region (NCR). The initiative aims to improve regional connectivity and provide convenient travel options for residents in the NCR and surrounding areas.

Additionally, IndiGo highlighted its participation in Operation Sindhu, aimed at repatriating citizens to India and thanked various government bodies for their assistance. Hindon Airport, situated in a rapidly developing region of Ghaziabad, is notable for its industrial growth, new residential projects, and proximity to Noida and East Delhi, further enhancing its significance in the region’s travel infrastructure.
