Chennai, 30 April (H.S.) : Tamilnadu head of BJP , Nainar Nagendran has denied any knowledge of alliance talks between the BJP and TVK, a development that has been making headlines in Tamil Nadu politics. Speaking to the media, Nagendran stated that he was unaware of any such discussions and emphasized that the BJP’s alliance strategy would be decided by the party’s central leadership.
Nagendran, however, expressed confidence that the DMK regime in Tamil Nadu would come to an end soon. He cited the government’s alleged failures in addressing various issues, including corruption and law and order, as reasons for the predicted outcome. The BJP leader’s comments come amid growing speculation about potential alliances and seat-sharing arrangements ahead of the next elections in the state.
Nagendran’s remarks underscore the BJP’s ambition to make inroads in Tamil Nadu politics and challenge the dominant DMK and AIADMK parties. His denial of knowledge about BJP-TVK alliance talks may indicate a cautious approach by the party, which is known to carefully consider its alliances and strategies in the state.
