Bijapur, May 12 (H.S.): Naxals have brutally murdered Congress worker Naga Bhandari in Lingapur village, Usur police station area of Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh, despite a self-imposed ceasefire. This incident has sparked panic and outrage among locals. Bhandari was killed late Sunday night near his home with a sharp weapon; he also operated the Marudbaka Society.

The police responded promptly, sending the body for post-mortem and launching an investigation. Tragically, Naga’s brother, Tirupati Bhandari, was similarly murdered by Naxals in broad daylight near Usur village on October 24, 2024.
