Odisha Vigilance Raids 7 Locations Linked to Dharmasala ABDO in DA Case

Bhubaneswar, 15 May (H.S.): The Odisha Vigilance Department today launched simultaneous raids at seven different locations linked to Asit Kumar Patra, Additional Block Development Officer (ABDO) of Dharmasala Block in Jajpur district, over allegations of possessing disproportionate assets beyond his known sources of income.

The operation, carried out under search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack, is being led by a high-level team comprising 8 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), 9 Inspectors, and other supporting staff. press release issued by vigilance department said.

The searches span across four districts — Jajpur, Cuttack, Bhadrak, and Khordha (Bhubaneswar) — and include Patra’s four-storeyed residential building at Chorda near Kanheipur in Jajpur Road; Flat No. 404(A) on the 4th Floor of Metro Avenue Apartment, Chauliaganj, Cuttack; his ancestral house at Garadeswar near Sundarimuhan in Jajpur; a relative’s residence in Sanabanasta village, PO-Nerada, Via-Akhuapada, under Bhandaripokhari Police Station in Bhadrak; his government residential quarter and office chamber at the Dharmasala Block Office in Jajpur; and a homestead plot located in Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar.
