Lucknow, 17 May (HS): Over Rs 1344 crore in financial help has
been handed to 66,874 persons who requested it from Uttar Pradesh Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath in 2024-25, according to a state government statement
released on Saturday. This included Rs 166 crore for 7,570 cancer patients and
Rs 33.12 crore for 1,729 renal patients, which included therapy,
transplantation, and post-care assistance, according to the statement. In
addition to medical treatment, the government provided financial assistance to
victims of fire accidents, dependents of the deceased, daughter weddings,
educational fees, and other expenses, according to the report.
According to the statement, CM Adityanath listened to everyone
and gave aid after analyzing their requirements, whether it was during Janata
Darshan in Gorakhpur or Lucknow, letters from public representatives, or
appeals from patients and their families. The UP CM also ensured that the
government provided aid to fire victims, accident survivors, dependents of the
deceased, and for the marriage of daughters, it added.
