Pakistan Expels Indian High Commission Staff

Islamabad, May 22 (H.S.): Pakistan has expelled a staff member of the Indian High Commission. He has been asked to leave Pakistan within 24 hours. The announcement was made by the federal government of Pakistan on Thursday.

According to Reports, the Foreign Ministry stated that the activities of this Indian High Commission officer are inconsistent with diplomatic status. According to the ministry’s statement, the officer has been instructed to leave Pakistan within 24 hours. The acting head of the Indian High Commission has been informed about the decision. Previously, India had ordered a diplomat from the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi to leave the country within 24 hours.
