Pakistan will face severe consequences for attacking civilians and school children: Dharmendra Pradhan

Delhi, 10 May (H.S.): Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan extended heartfelt condolences to the families of two school children tragically killed by Pakistani shelling in Poonch. He condemned Pakistan’s actions, emphasizing that they will face severe repercussions for targeting innocent civilians, particularly children.

In a heartfelt post on X, he described the news of the 12-year-olds’ deaths as heart-wrenching and criticized Pakistan for its barbaric and terrorist mentality, highlighting a blatant disregard for basic standards of humanity. The untimely deaths of the children, Zoha and Ziyan, near Christ School Poonch, have sparked outrage across India.

Pradhan expressed solidarity with the grieving families and praised the courage of citizens living along the international border who stand resilient in challenging times. He reiterated that Pakistan’s actions represent a violation of humanity and civilization’s principles, asserting that India’s resolve in responding to such cowardly acts is unwavering. The world recognizes Pakistan’s state-sponsored terrorism, and India will not forget or forgive these atrocities, with the Indian Army prepared to respond decisively.
