
Delhi, 7 May (H.S.): After India targeted nine terror training camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK), Prime Minister Narendra Modi is closely overseeing the developments. He is set to preside over a Union Cabinet meeting and a Cabinet Committee on Security meeting at 11 am, while other crucial meetings by Union Ministers have been canceled.
As tensions between India and Pakistan escalate, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar emphasized on X the need for global zero tolerance toward terrorism.
India has briefed the United States regarding the counter-terrorism actions, following U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s assurance of monitoring the situation and advocating for a swift peaceful resolution after discussions with Pakistan officials.
