
Delhi, 26 June (H.S.): President Droupadi Murmu, will preside over the ‘MSME Day 2025 – Udyami Bharat event’ on 27th June, 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The event will see attendance from notable figures, including the Minister for MSME, Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi, and other officials from the Ministry. MSME Day 2025 aims to recognize the significant contribution of the MSME sector to the nation’s economic growth and serves as a launch pad for initiatives that promote a resilient, competitive MSME sector.
Key highlights include the release of a special Postage Stamp by the President to commemorate 25 years of the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE). CGTMSE has approved over 1.18 crore credit guarantees worth Rs. 9.80 lakh crore, with Rs. 3 lakh crore in guarantees extended in the fiscal year 2024-25 alone. The President will also unveil the Ministry’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Portal, aimed at resolving disputes related to delayed payments for MSE sellers, thus enhancing the ease of doing business.
Additionally, the President will launch MSME Hackathon 5.0 and announce results of Hackathon 4.0, fostering innovation and technology adoption within MSMEs. The event will witness the release of ‘MSME Patrika’, an in-house journal for MSME insights, and a booklet ‘Know Your Lender’ offering guidance on credit for MSMEs, enhancing their understanding of credit rights.
