New Delhi, May 10 (HS): The results of the Delhi Saket Court Bar Association election were finally announced late at night. Advocate Rajpal Kasana has been elected as the President and Anil Bhasoya as the Secretary.
The position of Treasurer in the Bar Association election was reserved for a female lawyer. Pooja Arora won the seat for Treasurer (reserved for women). Narendra Sharma has been elected as the Vice President, Hitesh Faisal as the Additional Secretary, Nirdesh Bidhuri as the Joint Secretary, Bharat Ahuja as member executive for those over 20 years, Yamini Sharma as Senior Lady Member, Garima Singh as Lady Member, Nikhil Rana for 5-10 years, and Puneet Vashisht as member executive.
The election was canceled after a scuffle over the ballots on March 21. Later, the High Court appointed former judge Justice RK Gauba as the Chairman of the Election Committee for the Saket Court Bar Association election. Subsequently, the election was conducted on May 9.
