
Ayodhya, 10 May (H.S.): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Ayodhya on a one-day visit on Saturday and inaugurated the beautification work of the ancient Sant Ravidas temple and the newly constructed Satsang Bhawan. The Chief Minister participated in the community lunch program here and took prasad with the saints. Earlier, while addressing the program, he said that the Prime Minister’s resolution of developed India is moving forward with the inspiration of Sadguru Sant Ravidas ji. Sant Ravidas had said, I want such a rule, where everyone gets food, small and big all live together, Raidas remains happy, this philosophy of his is the basis of the Prime Minister’s resolution of developed India. Our country will become developed India only when we are able to unite and remove caste and economic disparities.
Ravidas ji awakened social consciousness
The Chief Minister said that today a new Ayodhya is being built and today this process has been strengthened with the beautification of Sant Ravidas temple and the inauguration of Satsang Bhawan. He congratulated Mahant Banwari Pati Brahmachari Ji Maharaj for this. Describing Sant Ravidas as a Siddha saint of the medieval saint tradition, CM Yogi said that he awakened social consciousness through the Karmapradhan system and strongly raised his voice against social anomalies.
Voice was raised against ostentation and conservatism
Referring to the difficult times of the medieval period, the Chief Minister said that when the foreign invaders were troubling the people and the Sanatan Dharma was under threat, Saint Ravidas in Kashi made the society aware of social unity. He said that Saint Ravidas raised his voice against ostentation and conservatism and gave top priority to action. His saying ‘Man chaaga to kathauti mein Ganga’ is relevant even today.
Ayodhya was neglected since independence, now a new Ayodhya is in front of us
CM Yogi said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Seer Govardhan in Kashi has been given a grand look in 10 years and the rejuvenation of Ayodhya is also a step in the same direction. He mentioned works like four-lane roads in Ayodhya, Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, Anna Kshetra in the name of Mata Shabari, Yatri Vishramalay in the name of Nishad Raj and beautification of Ram Ki Paadi and Saryu Ghat. The Chief Minister said that Ayodhya was neglected since independence, but now this capital of Suryavansh is making its mark as the country’s first solar city.
Only the spirit of Nation First will create a prosperous India
He assured the saints of Pasi Samaj, Kabir Math and Rajak Samaj that the government is committed to building a self-reliant and developed India by connecting all sections. He said that when our resolve is connected with the duties towards the country, then the solution of all problems is possible. We have to give priority to the country with the spirit of Nation First, only then we will be able to build a prosperous India by following the ideals of Saint Ravidas and Lord Ram.
