
New Delhi, May 10 (HS): Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah spoke on the phone with the foreign ministers of India and Pakistan on Saturday. He appealed to his counterparts to reduce the escalating military tensions and restore peace.
The Saudi Foreign Minister had separate discussions with India’s Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. According to the Saudi Embassy, during the talks, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s balanced and close relationship with both countries. He emphasized the Kingdom’s commitment to regional security and stability.
Prior to Saudi Arabia’s discussions, the U.S. Secretary of State had also spoken with the foreign ministers of both countries.
