Scotland’s innings began with a powerful 100-run partnership between opener George Munsey (78 off 39 balls) and Brandon McMullen (42), setting a competitive total of 193/5. Contributions from Michael Leask (26*) and Matthew Cross (17*) bolstered their score in the final overs.
Nepal’s innings faltered early, losing four wickets for just 5.1 overs, with key players like Kushal Bhurtel and Asif Sheikh dismissed quickly. Dipendra Singh Airee, the player with the most T20 international matches for Nepal, managed a resilient 34 off 33 balls, but his dismissal marked a turning point.
