Washington, May 8 (H.S.): Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence, announced on Wednesday the release of about 60,000 files related to the 1968 assassination of former Senator Robert F. Kennedy. This follows the earlier release of approximately 10,000 files last month, which indicated that rumors about Kennedy being shot were circulating a month before the assassination.

Gabbard stated that these recently released files, long-hidden in federal archives and never digitized, include interviews with Kennedy’s assassin and eyewitnesses by Los Angeles police. Additional documents will be available at archives.gov/rfk.

The assassination of Robert F. Kennedy remains unsolved, and Gabbard emphasized that, under President Trump’s leadership, Americans now have a chance to review the federal investigation nearly 60 years later.
