Bhubaneswar, 2 May (H.S.) On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the great Indian saint and philosopher Ramanujacharya, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan paid heartfelt tribute, acknowledging his profound contributions to society and spirituality.
In a message shared on social media, Shri Pradhan wrote, “I bow in deep reverence to the great Indian saint, social reformer, and unparalleled philosopher, Shri Ramanujacharya Ji, on his Jayanti.”
He highlighted Ramanujacharya’s efforts in simplifying the path of devotion (bhakti) and making it accessible to all, breaking down barriers of discrimination and inequality in society. “His teachings were not only rooted in religion but also served as a catalyst for social awakening,” Pradhan noted.
Shri Pradhan further added that Ramanujacharya guided millions towards the path of devotion, truth, and service. Even today, his principles of equality, fraternity, and justice continue to serve as a beacon of light for society.
