Guwahati, 17 April (HS): Assam Police took action near the international border in the Sribhumi area of Assam and caught five Bangladeshi nationals and sent them back across the border. The arrested citizens have been identified as Abdullah, Ansarullah, Rashid Ahmed, Mohammad Kalim Molla and Hepi Sheikh.

Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma praised this action and said, The role of Assam Police in keeping vigil against illegal infiltration in our state is commendable. He also said that the government will continue to take strict measures to keep the state borders safe.
