Bullion market shows slight decline; gold and silver prices drop

New Delhi, April 23 (HS): Today, a slight downward trend can be seen in the domestic bullion market. Prior to this, a significant increase in the prices of gold and silver (physical gold and physical silver) was recorded on Tuesday. During the day’s trading, the price of 24-carat gold even crossed the level of one lakh rupees per 10 grams. However, after this surge, a correction phase ensued, leading to a downward trend in gold prices.

Due to the slight decline in the bullion market today, 24-carat gold is trading within the range of 98,350 to 98,500 rupees per 10 grams in most bullion markets across the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold is being sold today between 90,150 to 90,300 rupees per 10 grams. In addition, due to weakening silver prices, this shiny metal is trading at the level of 1,01,000 rupees per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market today.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold is trading at 98,500 rupees per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold has been recorded at 90,300 rupees per 10 grams. Meanwhile, in the country’s financial capital Mumbai, 24-carat gold is selling at 98,350 rupees per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold is available at 90,150 rupees per 10 grams. Similarly, in Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold is recorded at 98,400 rupees per 10 grams, and the price of 22-carat gold is 90,200 rupees per 10 grams. Apart from these major cities, in Chennai, 24-carat gold is being sold today at the price of 98,350 rupees per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold at 90,150 rupees per 10 grams. Kolkata is also experiencing the same trading levels with 24-carat gold at 98,350 rupees per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at 90,150 rupees per 10 grams.

In the Sarrafa market of Lucknow, 24-carat gold is being sold at the level of ₹98,500 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold is being sold at ₹90,300 per 10 grams. In Patna, the price of 24-carat gold is at ₹98,400 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is being sold at ₹90,200 per 10 grams. In Jaipur, 24-carat gold is priced at ₹98,500 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold is available at ₹90,300 per 10 grams.

Like other states in the country, the Sarrafa markets in Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha have also recorded a decline in gold prices today. In the capitals of these three states—Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar—24-carat gold is trading at ₹98,350 per 10 grams today. Similarly, in the Sarrafa markets of these three cities, 22-carat gold is being sold at ₹90,150 per 10 grams.
