Islamabad, April 23 (H.S.): Pakistan has responded with a ‘malicious’ reaction to the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on Tuesday. The Foreign Ministry of Pakistan has issued a statement regarding this. It is noted in the statement that Pahalgam is located in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, which is under illegal Indian occupation.
According to Reports, the Foreign Ministry’s statement came in response to questions about the incident that occurred in the ‘illegally occupied’ Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. The statement expressed concern over the killing of tourists and extended condolences to the families of the victims, wishing for the swift recovery of the injured.
A spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry stated, We are concerned about the loss of tourists’ lives in the attack in Anantnag. We express our condolences to the families of the deceased and wish for the quick recovery of the injured. According to the ministry’s statement, this attack took place in Pahalgam, approximately 90 kilometers away from the main city of Srinagar. According to Indian police, the assailants ambushed a group of tourists and fired from close range. More than three dozen people were injured in this attack, with many in serious condition.
The statement from Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry also targeted Indian media, claiming that following the attack, Indian media started spreading false and baseless propaganda.
