
New Delhi, April 24 (H.S.): Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Minister of External Affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan to discuss the Pahalgam attack and the country’s security situation .
The Central government has called for an all-party meeting to discuss the Pahalgam attack. The meeting is underway on Thursday at the Parliament. According to sources, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will chair the meeting.
Concurrently, Indian Ministry of External Affairs officials briefed ambassadors from countries, including Germany, Japan, Poland, the UK, and Russia, on the attack’s circumstances and India’s security strategy. This briefing aimed to strengthen cooperation on security and terrorism issues among interested nations.
