New Delhi, 27 April (H.S.): The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has provided the Delhi police with a list of approximately 5,000 Pakistani nationals residing in the national capital, urging their return to Pakistan. This action follows a visa revocation in response to a terrorist attack in pahalgam,Jammu and Kashmir.
The Foreign Regional Registration Office (FRRO) shared the list, which includes Hindu Pakistani nationals holding Long Term Visas (LTVs) that are exempted from revocation. A senior official indicated that the list has been sent to the relevant district for verification, particularly noting a high concentration of Pakistani nationals in Central and North East Delhi.
The Delhi police, under senior officers’ supervision, are directed to address this situation promptly. There are two separate lists of 3,000 and 2,000 names, with some overlap.
Additionally, an order from the Ministry of Home Affairs revokes most visas for Pakistan nationals starting April 27, 2025, while LTVs for Hindus remain valid.
