Jammu, 27 April (H.S.): : Jammu Police South Zone, under the supervision of SP City South Jammu Ajay Sharma, SDPO East and SDPO South continued its commitment to proactive policing, effective law enforcement and community outreach.

Police conducted community policing meetings, executed successful raids, made arrests, recovered stolen property, and carried out preventive actions across various jurisdictions.

In a sustained effort to strengthen police-public relations and promote cooperative policing, the SP City South along with SDPO South, SHO Satwari, and ICPP Phallian Mandal convened a PCPG meeting at Makwal village.

The meeting witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local community including members of Village Defence Groups (VDGs), senior citizens, Panchayat representatives, and youth. The officers listened to public grievances, addressed concerns related to local crime trends, and sought community assistance in maintaining law and order.

Emphasis was placed on enhancing vigilance, reporting suspicious activities, and fostering a safe environment through active citizen-police collaboration.
