Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Pays Tribute to Adi Shankaracharya on His Jayanti

Bhubaneswar, 2 May (H.S.) On the occasion of Adi Shankaracharya Jayanti, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan paid heartfelt tribute to the revered spiritual leader and philosopher.

In a post shared on social media, Shri Pradhan described Adi Shankaracharya as the lifebreath of Sanatan Dharma, the proponent of Advaita Vedanta, a great philosopher, and an unparalleled scholar.

On the occasion of Adi Shankaracharya Jayanti, I bow in reverence to him. He not only gave a new dimension to Indian philosophy but also established four prominent mathas across the country, keeping the eternal flame of Sanatan Dharma alive, he wrote.

Highlighting the profound impact of Adi Shankaracharya’s teachings, he added, “His declaration of ‘Aham Brahmasmi’ continues to inspire humanity towards self-realization and the pursuit of ultimate knowledge.”

He urged people to imbibe the principles and teachings of Adi Shankaracharya in their lives and walk the path of true spirituality and dharma.
