Doda, 3 May (H.S.): AAP MLA from Doda constituency, Mehraj Malik who later on raised to the position of AAP president for J&K, here today appeared before a Court which had issued non-bailable warrants against him in two different cases.

Sources informed that the MLA was facing trial in cases related to violation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during the election campaign and also for misbehaving with an official of revenue department.

He was granted bail after which he moved out of the Court.

It is pertinent to mention here that Malik remained in limelight for making certain controversial statements before some news portals.
