Mansukh Mandaviya Leads Fit India Sundays on Cycle Event in New Delhi

New Delhi, May 4 (H.S.): Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya participated in the ‘Fit India Sundays on Cycle’ program today. This event was held at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi.

This was the 21st edition of this initiative. On this occasion, the minister stated that today, teachers across more than 7,000 locations in the country have spread the message of fitness through cycling. He mentioned that cycling not only keeps us fit but also promotes a positive lifestyle.

Mandaviya pointed out that physical activities are being neglected in the digital age, making this campaign essential. Teachers have inspired their students today, demonstrating that staying fit contributes to the nation’s progress.

He also said that all sections of society need to work together to make the ‘Fit India Movement’ a success. The government’s initiative is a significant step towards making fitness a people’s movement. People of various age groups participated actively in this event. Everyone, from children to the elderly, described cycling as a symbol of health and enthusiasm.
