Lucknow, 04 May (HS): In a sharp attack, Samajwadi Party chiewf
Akhilesh Yadav accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of launching a caste
census out of concern over the PDA’s unity—Picchda (backwards), Dalit
(scheduled castes), and Alphshankyak (minorities). During a news conference, Yadav asserted that
corruption and injustice under the BJP administration had rallied these people
against the governing party. Yadav
stated, Corruption is rampant under the current Uttar Pradesh government,
and no action is being taken against BJP leaders. The PDA coalition is determined to prevent
any anomalies in the caste census. He
further said that the government prioritizes businesspeople above the poor and
farmers, resulting in increasing costs and disregard of social welfare.
