Jorhat (Assam), 6 May (HS): A massive fire incident was reported in Moriyani on Tuesday morning. About 12 business establishments of Thana Tiniyali area were engulfed in this fire.

Property worth lakhs of rupees was burnt to ashes in the fire. Initial suspicion is that this fire broke out due to short circuit.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, the fire brigade reached the spot and efforts to control the fire are continuing.
