New Delhi, 6 May (H.S.): Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda stated on Tuesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi made bold decisions to fight terrorism in response to the April 22 Pahalgam attack and expressed his and his party’s backing for all measures to eliminate the threat.

We must educate the terrorists on consequences. This marks the first occasion when a prime minister has executed such daring actions. No prime minister has ever granted such absolute power to the military, Deve Gowda stated during a press conference.

The leader of the Janata Dal (Secular) mentioned that Modi enacted various actions, such as giving complete operational autonomy to the Indian Armed Forces to decide on the method, objectives, and timing of their response.
