Bhubaneswar, 8 May (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi paid heartfelt tribute to eminent freedom fighter and social reformer Gopabandhu Choudhury on his birth anniversary, acknowledging his invaluable contribution to India’s freedom struggle and social upliftment.

In a message shared on social media, the Chief Minister described Choudhury as not only a prominent figure in the fight for independence but also a symbol of service, sacrifice, and social reform.

“Among the many freedom fighters from Odisha who played a significant role in India’s struggle for independence, Gopabandhu Choudhury holds a prominent place. A true embodiment of service, sacrifice, and reform, I offer my humble tributes on his sacred birth anniversary,” CM Majhi wrote.
