Son Heung-min reportedly files complaint to police in South Korea

Seoul, May 15 (H.S.): Tottenham Hotspur captain and South Korean football star Son Heung-min has filed a complaint with the police regarding an attempt to blackmail him based on a false pregnancy claim made by a woman. This information was provided by his agency, ‘Son and Football Limited,’ on Thursday.

In a statement, Son’s agency said, The police are currently investigating the matter. We will share information as soon as the results are available. We want to make it clear that Son Heung-min is completely a victim in this case.

According to local media reports, the police have arrested a woman in her 20s and a man in his 40s. Both are accused of attempting to extort money from Son through the false pregnancy claim. The investigation is being conducted by the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul. However, the police have not yet made any official comments on the matter.

The 32-year-old Son Heung-min is not only known for his outstanding performance in the English Premier League but is also a highly respected and popular figure in the country as the captain of the national team. The emergence of such a case against him is shocking for his fans.
