
New Delhi, May 15 (H.S.): Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), met US President Donald Trump and the Emir of Qatar at the Lusail Palace in Doha, Qatar, on Thursday. In the footage released from the event, the Reliance chief can be seen conversing with U.S. Commerce Secretary Steve Lutnik.
The meeting between President Trump and Mukesh Ambani is generating significant discussion in the global business community. This high-profile meeting illustrates Mukesh Ambani’s growing influence in global trade and diplomacy. He met the President Trump during a state dinner hosted by the Emir of Qatar. Earlier, Ambani was seen greeting both Trump and Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
According to media reports, this is the second meeting between businessman Mukesh Ambani and Trump since his reelection. Previously, in January, Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani attended U.S. President Donald Trump’s second inauguration ceremony. Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund, QIA, has invested in Reliance’s business in recent years. Mukesh Ambani also has significant partnerships with American tech giants such as Google and Meta.
