New Delhi, 30 June (H.S.): Positive signals from the global market, mixed trading in Asia New Delhi, June 30. Positive signals are coming from the global market today.
The U.S. markets closed strongly during the last session. Dow Jones futures are also showing gains today. The European markets closed with tremendous gains during the last session. Meanwhile, the Asian markets appear to be showing mixed trading today. In the U.S. market, there was a buying atmosphere during the last session, which allowed Wall Street’s indices to close strongly.
The S&P 500 Index closed up 0.52 percent at 6,173.07 points. Similarly, the Nasdaq ended the last session up 105.55 points, or 0.52 percent, at 20,273.46 points. Dow Jones futures are currently trading at 44,085.34 points, up 266.07 points, or 0.61 percent. The European market also maintained continuous gains during the last session.
The FTSE Index closed up 0.72 percent at 8,798.91 points. Similarly, the CAC Index ended the last session up 134.24 points, or 1.75 percent, at 7,691.55 points. Additionally, the DAX Index closed at 24,033.22 points, up 383.92 points, or 1.60 percent.
The Asian market is currently showing mixed trading. Out of 9 markets in Asia, 6 indices are trading in the green, while 3 indices are in the red. The GIFT Nifty is trading at 25,738 points, down 0.17 percent. Similarly, the Hang Seng Index has dropped by 136.22 points, or 0.56 percent, to 24,147.93 points, and the Taiwan Weighted Index has fallen by 137.66 points, or 0.61 percent, to 22,442.42 points. On the other hand, the KOSPI Index is trading up 0.79 percent at 3,080.15 points. Similarly, the Jakarta Composite Index has reached 6,916.62 points with a gain of 0.28 percent. The Nikkei Index is showing a strong rise today.
Currently, this index has jumped 601.55 points, or 1.50 percent, reaching 40,752.34 points. Similarly, the SET Composite Index is trading at 1,092.52 points with a gain of 0.93 percent, the Shanghai Composite Index is up 0.20 percent at 3,431.18 points, and the Straits Times Index is trading with a nominal increase of 0.04 percent at 3,967.87 points.
