Dubai, June 30 (H.S.): The National Center of Meteorology has issued a warning for extreme heat in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today. The center expects temperatures in the interior regions to be between 44 degrees Celsius and 49 degrees Celsius.

There will also be significant heat in coastal areas and islands, with maximum temperatures expected to range from 37 degrees Celsius to 42 degrees Celsius. In the hilly areas, temperatures are expected to be between 32 degrees Celsius and 38 degrees Celsius. Gulf News reported this information citing the National Center of Meteorology. It mentioned that the sky may be partially cloudy for some time.

The sun will blaze on the eastern coast. Winds may blow from the southwest to the northwest at speeds of 10 to 20 kilometers per hour. Slight activity is expected in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea. The center has advised people to avoid staying outside for long periods.
