New Delhi, August 19 (HS): The domestic bullion market witnessed a continued decline in gold prices on Monday, while silver saw a marginal rise. Gold fell by ₹400 to ₹430 per 10 grams across major markets, whereas silver gained ₹100 per kilogram.

Following the dip, 24-carat gold was trading in the range of ₹1,00,750 to ₹1,00,900 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood between ₹92,350 and ₹92,500 per 10 grams. In contrast, silver prices in Delhi climbed to ₹1,17,100 per kilogram.

In the national capital, 24-carat gold was quoted at ₹1,00,900 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹92,500 per 10 grams. Mumbai reported slightly lower levels, with 24-carat gold at ₹1,00,750 and 22-carat gold at ₹92,350 per 10 grams. Ahmedabad saw 24-carat gold at ₹1,00,800, while 22-carat gold traded at ₹92,400. In Chennai and Kolkata, gold prices matched Mumbai levels, at ₹1,00,750 (24-carat) and ₹92,350 (22-carat).

Other major cities also echoed the downward movement. Lucknow and Jaipur reported the highest rates at ₹1,00,900 per 10 grams (24-carat) and ₹92,500 per 10 grams (22-carat). Patna stood at ₹1,00,800 and ₹92,400, respectively.

Meanwhile, southern and eastern markets followed a similar trend. Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar all recorded 24-carat gold at ₹1,00,750 and 22-carat at ₹92,350 per 10 grams.

With gold prices sliding and silver making marginal gains, market watchers suggest that shifting global sentiment and domestic demand patterns will continue to drive bullion trade in the coming days.
